Beth Koppel is a life-long Democrat. Since the age of three, she has loved living in Rockland County. Beth’s entrance into local community issues and politics was as a Block Captain against a Municipal parking garage near Suffern’s ball field and the West Ward neighborhood. She helped successfully defeat this issue with other neighbors. Beth was also active in the Torne Valley Power Plant project, which was also successfully defeated. Koppel is currently a Field Consultant for Subway (the sandwich, not the train). Beth is an outdoors enthusiast looking to keep our open spaces open and preserve our natural resources in our community: Rockland, Ramapo and Suffern. As a candidate for District 11 Democratic County Committee, Beth will be a voice of reason and approaches problem solving logically. She is running for one (1) of four (4) Democratic Committee Member positions.
Tara Agen’s Dad was a Kennedy Democrat and supported her quest to help Democrats get elected across the country during her late teens, twenties and thirties. From City Council to U.S. President, Agen has helped 100’s of Democrats by raising money, organizing their run for office, and playing to win. Agen has lived in Suffern for eight years, but is a life-long New Yorker born and raised Upstate in the foothills of the Adirondacks. Tara currently works for Hewlett-Packard as Chief of Staff, Strategy and Planning for their Americas LaserJet business. She is looking forward to contributing to the energy and efforts of the Democratic Party in Suffern, Town of Ramapo and Rockland County by running for one (1) of District 11’s four (4) Committee Member positions.
